about

"Being an artist anywhere is an act of love, often sacrificial love. Brian Ripp, born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, is an avid snowboarder, husband, father and illustration artist. The owner of the expunged Rainy Day Gallery that operated during what some might call Vancouver’s great art epoch, Brian has lived the different folds of an artist life, expressing himself through various mediums and lifestyles.
His style is unique, a blend of street art and comic-style illustrations. He emblazons every piece with his personal life philosophies, phrases like “belief” and “dream” stand prominently in the forefront, and you can sense the adventurer behind the figures in each piece. There is a very real sense that the artist who creates these beautiful, striking pieces loves and lives life to the fullest."
